Obituary of Joseph Edward Dillman

DILLMAN, Joseph “Joe” – age 64, of Antrim, passed away peacefully on June2, 2018 in the QEII- VG Site, Halifax. Born in Halifax, he was a son of Shirley (Boutlier) and John Dillman.

Joe was a loyal employee of IMP Aerospace for over 45 years. He loved horseback riding with his daughter and fishing with his son. Joe enjoyed going to Tim Hortons with his best friend, Dave, drives with his children, grocery shopping, and coffee visits with his work friend, Terri. Joe lived for his kids and loved them more than life. He never had much to say, but when he did it came straight from his heart. Joe was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He will be deeply missed!

Joe is survived by his daughter, Lisa Dillman and son in law, Kelsey Gilby; grandchildren, Samantha and Taylor; son, Jason Dillman; the mother of his children and best friend, Eileen; brother, Danny Dillman; sister in law, Elizabeth; niece, Katharina; nephew, David; brother and sister in law, Harold and Bernice Brake; niece and god daughter, Cynthia; niece, Wendy; as well as a large extended family of loved ones.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. A private family service will be held at a later date.
