To my dearest long time friend, Susan, to AJ - the eldest of the children of Alex, and to Sean and Frankie, his twins:
Your hearts are broken as you move forward with understanding the dept of his tragic death, but in my heart I know that Alex is now with our Lord. He is looking down upon you now saying, in his own way, I love you.
I have been very blessed to have known Alex, where he showed me love, grace, strength and humor.
As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you all continue to feel comforted by the love and support from family and friends.
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times of Alex being a father, grandpa and husband as you all together celebrate a life well lived.
