We moved last year and are finding we are often not getting the news until it is to late to attend the service, just as it is with Larry's. Hello and condolences from Chris and Christine Dunn in Ottawa. We are thinking of you all and reminiscing. And I have to tell you that even though we are saddened by his passing, I cannot think of Uncle Lawrence in any context without smiling. He always made me laugh. Whether he was teaching me to use a split axel shifter in a 5 ton or chastising me for getting his truck stuck on a sod field after a rain. He still did it with a smile. I sure knew he was ticked off but his eyes still sparkled when he pointed out the "perhaps less that perfect" choice I had made. I am going to remember that laugh and grin for a long long time. You do not know me but I am the younger daughter of Lloyd Geddes (etang du Nord, Cap aux Meules,Halifax, Shubenacadie and Milford) and Ada Patton, (Cap aux Meules, et al.).
