I worked with Jim as a summer student at Nova Scotia Sand and Gravel in 1979, 1980, and 1981. Jim was a great guy to work with. Each day coming to work was a chance to hang out with Jim and listen to him tell me stories about his garden, going to the Halifax County Exhibition, and family. He had a gentle sense of humour that was funny but never insulting to others. I consider him to be one of the most decent men I have ever met. I will always treasure my memories of working with you Jim. Rest in peace.
