PEARL, Willard Curtis “Bill”, age 75 of North Salem, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2016 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Kentville, he was a son of the late Willard “Jim” and Pauline (Benjamin) Pearl. Bill was a hard worker and most of his working years was spent in the woods, working with Earl Tanner & Sons. He enjoyed spending time with family, snowmobiling and 4-wheeling. He is survived by a brother, John, North Salem; sisters, Evelyn “Daisy”, Kinsac; Kathy, North Salem; nieces, Sharon, Wilma, Carole, Roseanne, Vicki and Shelley; nephews, James, Daniel, Terry, Brian and Michael. Besides his parents Bill was predeceased by sister, Joan, brother, Murray and nieces Jessie and Lisa. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held 6pm - 8pm Friday August 19 in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2 Shubenacadie. Funeral Service will be 2pm Saturday August 20 in Church Of Christ, Mill Village, Ray Fisher officiating. The family would like to say a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre for their kindness and care shown to Bill. Also many thanks to all of the guys at Atlantic Motorsports Park in North Salem for all of their friendship shown to Bill. As well, a special thanks to neighbour Barry; Garrett and friend Aldon MacPhee for their kindness shown to Bill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
