We remember the warm and friendly visits we had with Elsie at her cozy home in Oldham. In spite of her discomfit from her severe arthritis, we were always warmly received. Elsie was a very gracious lady and it was always a pleasure to reminisce with her of the "old" days in Oldham.
Laurie and his brother Ron remember the ice cream cones at Silver's store in Enfield.
Seems so long ago and far away, but we will always warmly remember Elsie.
God bless.

Although I've only known Elsie for a few short years, it didn't take long for me to learn just how special this beautiful woman was. In those few short years, we have had many heartfelt conversations. She spoke often of her family, with only love in her words. A beautiful angel in heaven now resting in peace. An angel I feel so fortunate and blessed to have been able to know. My sincere condolences to Debbie, Lisa, Tiffany & Jason and to the rest of Elsie's family. I know, through her words, she loved you all so dearly. God Bless

To the Whidden Family,
Your mother, grandmother, sister, and neighbor was a great lady. Many whom have known her had nothing but great things to say.
My father (William Conrad) always spoke very highly of this lady and her husband. I recall some of the bake goods he would bring back home.
It was a great treat getting homemade baked goods.
Debbi, your mom lived a great life. At this difficult time she would only want you to thing about all the great times you had with her. Whether it be a private moment or family moments. There will be lots of time for tears.
To get you through the next few days there will be many people in your presents, so take the time to celebrate your mom's life with them, by listening to the stories they will tell you. There will probably be somethings you never knew.
Debbi , continue to be your Mom's cheerleader with your head held high. She will always be with you where every you are.
Elsie, may you Rest In Peace.

My deepest condolences, the little house will never be the same without her there, the smell of her fresh baked goodies. The days spent there as a child are some of my most favorite memories. She will so dearly be missed. Another angel gone home.
