My heart goes out to the immediate, as well as extended families and friends. Although I didn't know Ruth personally, I feel as though I did because of the many great stories revealed to me by Carolyn. My connection to you all would be through Mary, Cheryl, Clint, Fred and my close friendship with Carolyn, who always told me Ruth was a second mother to the girls. She told me how Ruth's home was open to anyone who needed sanctuary, a shoulder to cry on, a good belly laugh, a good 'cuppa' and always something very tasty to accompany it. Ruth will be sorely missed in her community and by family and friends. My wish for you all is that all the wonderful memories you have of her will outweigh the sadness you feel in your hearts.
