I am so very sorry to hear of Jean's passing. When my parents became Braeside residents, Jean & Gerald spent so much time with both of them. Whenever my brothers and I would visit our parents, we always included Jean in our visit. She would tell so many stories that made meal time in the cafeteria a happy event. There were stories about her childhood and school days, working as a cook at the mill cookhouse with her young children, working as a telephone operator, later on taking in boarders in her home, stories about her family of which she was so proud. Jean was a lovely lady, always so well dressed and with a warm smile.
I can still hear her say as I left at the end of every visit "bye dear"
