When I was volunteering at the Magnolia, I would visit the ladies at the Eagles Nest. Hazel would either be out at the table and sometimes in her room. I would go into her room and say " Hazel, would you like your nails painted today ". Most of the time she would say " oh yes". She loved bright or sparkly colors due to her sight. If she didn't care to have her nails painted, I would sit with her, in her room and just talk. She loved visits and up until Covid, I would speak to Hazel mostly every opportunity I could until I could no longer go into the Magnolia. I will miss you Hazel, your humor and charm. Condolences to Clarey and Marjorie, Brent and Jo-anna, Junior and the extended families of Hazel. Rest easy Hazel.
