Leigh Ann, Devin, Dylin, and family, I am saddened to hear of Scott’s passing. I know he was a dedicated family man. I was grateful for him to help coach my son’s hockey team. Coaching says something about the selflessness of a person to help other children benefit.
My thoughts are with all of you. My deepest condolences.

Although I didn’t know Scott well, each time we crossed paths at Hnatiuk’s we always had great conversations! Pleasant, friendly, and passionate about things he loved. I cannot remember once that he didn’t take a few minutes to talk. My only regret is that I didn’t know him better.

To Scott's Family...
I've known Scott since he was 14 or 15 years old...hanging out at Stewiacke Fire. He was a large fellow, with the nicest smile and eyes I don't know how Sheila could say no to him. From a Junior Firefighter to Active Firefighter we watched him grow and blossom into an HRM Firefighter, married with his boys. I never saw him anywhere without his boys. Scott and Hal Ellis, always up to some adventure, dabbling, hunting or fishing. His heart was bigger than him...Rest in Peace my Friend, we all are going to miss you...
