Obituary of Yves Beaudoin

BEAUDOIN, Yves,”Beaudie”, -age 70, of Nine Mile River passed away unexpectedly at home on January 10, 2022. Born in Lachine, Quebec he was a son of the late Guy and Fernande (E'Toile) Beaudoin.

Yves was a 30-year veteran of the Royal Canadian Navy.  He took the horticultural program at NSCC Kingstec, Kentville. He was employed at Baldwin’s Nursery in Falmouth until he was unable to work.  Yves was a proud father and Papa. He loved his family and cherished any time spent with them.  He travelled to many places while in the Navy, gathering trinkets and souvenirs along the way.  The stories he could tell you, and he spent many hours doing just that.

He is survived by children, Samuel (Cherry), Melanie, Jean Guy (Candice); grandchildren, Christian, Trishan, Hunter, Gabrielle, Hope and Lukas; great grandson, Zachary; brothers, Jean and Daniel; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 6-8pm Sunday, this is limited to 50 people. Due to COVID-19, a private funeral service will be held 2pm Monday, January 17^th in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2 Shubenacadie, Rev. Kim Curlett officiating.

***Proof of full vaccination + ID will be required to attend, and face masks must be worn.
