Obituary of Francis MacNeil

MacNEIL,  Francis “Gary”– age 72,  passed away peacefully on Friday, June 25^th, 2021, in Magnolia Continuing Care, Enfield.  Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Joseph and Ramona (McKinnon) McNeil.

Gary enjoyed the outdoors, spending time farming, haying, going to exhibitions and spending time with nature. He was a valued member of the community and will be greatly missed.  Gary worked at Shaw Brick for many years before he retired.

Gary is survived by his sister in law, Theresa MacNeil, Yellowhead County, AB.

Besides his parents,, Gary is predeceased by his brother, Bruce; foster parents, Albert and Cleta McPhee and other foster family members. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie.  A graveside service will take place at a later date.
