Raymond and Emily Black would like to send our condolences to friends and family of Bruce and Francis (Gary) MacNeil. It was a shock to hear of their passing. Gary became part of our family over the years. He knew he was always welcome here. He was a relatively shy man with a big presence. I use to say - you are big like a lumberjack. He would say I am use to hard work and working in the woods and on the farm was what I did part of my life. We miss him not showing up at our house in Elmsdale. Raymond worked with Gary at the Shaw Pipe Plant for a number of years. Bruce worked at the Shaw Brick Plant for probably that long as well. I first met Gary at their foster parents place. I remember the big horse in the barn. She was BIG. We helped Gary as he moved along in his life. Near the end we went to see him in the hospital. Then Covid-19 set in. Bruce was going to see Gary weekly at Magnolia Nursing Home and would keep us update. Then it all stopped. Covid robbed us of the chance to visit Gary at the Magnolia. We never go to say good-bye.
If Theresa sees this, please contact us through Ettingers. We would dearly love to speak with you and help in any way we can. GOD BLESS US ALL AT THIS TIME.
