Obituary of Martin Harry Ashley

ASHLEY, Martin Harry – age 56, of Dutch Settlement passed away May 23, 2021 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Harry and Marina (Hines) Ashley.

Martin was an outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was the entertainer at family gatherings. Marty enjoyed travelling, loved to cook and took pride in taking care of his property. He loved animals. Martin also enjoyed four wheeling and went on many trips.

Marty was a 37-year employee of the Shaw Group Ltd in Lantz.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Stephanie MacKenzie; sisters, Cindy (Daniel) Isenor and Shelley (Darrin) Gloade; several nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his sisters in-law, mother in-law and a wide circle of friends. 

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie.
