My most sincere condolences to Al's family. He was the Chief that we would all want to work for and later he was the Chief that one would emulate. He was the reason I stayed in the Navy. RIP Chief. Stand easy we have the watch.

Another well respected Chief Electrician from the Navy has left us. Never sailed with Al but knew him through our careers and in FMG in the 1980's. Hadn't seen him for a few years and was sad to hear of his passing. RIP Al. You will be remembered.

Another great sailor, friend and a humble person has left us in body but not in spirit. I knew Al many years ago. It was during the late 1950s , and early 1960s. I sailed with him during this period. He was a great shipmate and a super technician. My thoughts are with all Al s family. He was certainly a man to be proud off. My deepest heartfelt sympathy. Gord Holstead, Toney River NS.
