I was very saddened to hear of Joe's passing. We were on that 1988-89 meteorologist course together. It was a stressful experience yet Joe was always a rock in that turbulent ocean... always supportive, optimistic, and quick with a humourous quip when we needed it the most. My condolences to you all.
This picture was taken during our course, and it's exactly how I'll always remember him.
