This condolence has been written by Janet Slack: Beverly and I were friends for over 40 years, and we shared many work experiences and laughter together, especially in the Annapolis Valley (BFM Hospital). Beverly was a best friend of mine and a sincere friend to many many others. When I was ill, Beverly came every day to the hospital to keep my spirits up. She was truly a devoted, compassionate and caring nurse. She will always be missed. Thank you Mark and Brent (nephews) for the special care and attention you gave your Aunt Beverly throughout the years and at Vimy Court. She really appreciated all family visits. To the families of Mary Patton (sister), Gwen Baker (sister-in-law) and all her cousins she talked about and thought so much of, I extend my sincere condolences.

I am sending sincere condolences to the Baker family.
Beverly was an excellent nurse. Not only was she super competent but she was super empathetic.Quite a few years ago my sister, Jessie was in the hospital in Halifax for cancer surgery. Beverly, knowing that Jessie's family visited for short visits, visited her everyday. It was appreciated so much by Jessie. Even though they had not seen each other since school days, Beverly made such an impression.
Rest in peace, Beverly, knowing that others appreciated your many acts of kindness throughout your career/life.

To the families of our dear Bev,
So sad to see that beautiful, vibrant picture of Bev. In today’s paper. She was such a wonderful, kind and caring classmate and friend throughout our student days at the Children’s Hospital. We all seemed to go our separate ways with families and careers but would be so happy when when our paths crossed and we were able to play “ catchup” with our lives.
It is so sad to realize that she has passed away but I want to say how special she was to our class of ‘62 and that space that was hers will always be hers and we will always have a special place in our hearts for our Bev.
Please accept my condolences for your loss. She was always so proud of her family and spoke so highly of her family and connections to California.
Thinking of you all.
Bette Ann Wigglesworth (Manthorne)
Class of ‘62

To the Baker family, I am so sorry for your loss. My memories of Beverly are of a quiet, kind lady who I got to see when her sister Mary and daughters Francis and Dianne used to visit Vera during the summers from California. Some of my fondest childhood memories are tied to those visits. Please know that you all will be in my thoughts and prayers. Take care.

As one of our "Tays" cousins, I remember Bev fondly over the years. My earliest memory is that she gave my sister and I costume jewelry rings when we were little girls. We felt so special and even wealthy! The attached picture is Barry, Bev and Aunt Vera in the front row, Gordon, Mary and Gwen in the back row. I think it is from a reunion that was held in Carroll's Corner in the early 90"s.
Beverly was a hard worker, may she rest well now.
