Obituary of Gerald Francis Power

POWER, Gerald Francis “Gerry” – age 75 of Mill Village, passed away peacefully February 27, 2020 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in St. John’s, NL, he was a son of the late Michael and Mary (Walsh) Power.

Gerry was a huge fan of John Wayne and horses were a big part of his life. The most important things in his entire world were his three grandsons. Gerry was a devoted husband and father; he had so many friends. Anyone that met him, loved him.

Gerry is survived by his wife of 54 years, Emily; daughter, Melissa; grandsons, Michael, Matthew and Aiden.

He was predeceased by his son, Scott.

Cremation has taken place. An informal Celebration of Life Gathering and Reception will be held at 2 - 4 pm Tuesday, March 3^rd in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812, Highway 2 Shubenacadie.   A private family burial will be held in the spring.
