Dear Barb and Family,
So very sorry to hear of Terry's passing .I remember when we first moved into the subdivision as a young family, we would see Terry and Mr.Tingley out on their daily walks and he would always have time for a smile and a wave or a quick conversation. Same smile we would see around the ballfields as I went to cheer on the brothers. He'll be smiling down on all of us now...love and hugs...Crystal

So very sorry to hear of Terry's passing! I worked closely with Terry, in the facilities dept at JAZZ for 5 years. We shared many a laugh and mischievious fun between the group of us. Half the time Terry was pretending to be gruff, yet we all knew he was a big teddy bear under the facade. I'm so sorry for your loss and hope the good memories carry you through.

Barb, Jonathan, Mark and Luke and all the family.....
I am so sorry that this has happened to all of you, Terry was an amazing person - who loved you all and of course his grandchildren. Terry was always there for me...welcomed me into the Annand clan for Christmas and other holiday gatherings; always included me. I remember (Luke you weren't born yet) going with Bob to meet Barb and Terry for the first time and 1/2 through the visit Terry disappeared .....I recall looking out the kitchen window over to a street I could see.....and there was Terry like the pied piper - walking along the street Jon and Mark in tow and half the neighbourhood kids, some on bikes, some walking, some in wagons - Terry always loved the company of "the kids" more that we adults LOL. He was nothing short a terrific dad. Another memory has struck me these last few days and that is hearing Jonathan and Mark (perhaps Luke but I don't think so) call Terry "Terry". I remember getting in the car to go home and saying to Bob - "I didn't realize that those weren't Terry's kids" to which Bob said "what are you talking about?".....Well they called him Terry! Oh Mary - its a phase all kids do that (said the guy who never had kids) "they are his - I guarantee that". We both had a great laugh.
I know this has been a difficult and challenging year for all of you but no less Terry and the treatments and this horrible illness. What a brave and courageous way he handled his illness - no complaining - just took on the challenge. Barb you have been nothing less than a saint; a devoted wife to Terry and you handled this illness with the same courage - you inspire us all to be better. There are tough days ahead for everyone and nothing short of a lobotomy will make the pain and the tears and sometimes even despair go away, at least for a time, however, time (like it or not) will help. Keep all the best memories close to you - they are the drug you need. Love you all, thinking of you....Hugs and lots of love Mary Dempster (Annand)

Barb and Family, so very sorry for your loss, I didn't know Terry a long time, but the time at Jazz with Terry was always a laugh, we used to joke about different things but our personal joke was, we make a good set of bookends, as we were the same size and the same height, but I said I was taller and Terry would say he was taller. RIP Terry, you will be missed, it was great to know you.

Barb and family,
So very sorry to hear of Terry's passing.
I am fortunate to have met Terry in the early 90's when we were involved with Scouting in Lantz.
Whether it was fundraising events, weekend camps or helping with repairs on our Dollar Lake cabin, Terry was always the first to step forward and volunteer. I recall fondly the many rounds of golf with Terry, including our annual group golf trips each fall to PEI.
His tips to improve my game were always appreciated and he could always be counted on for an entertaining story or tall tale.
Selfless, compassionate, fun-loving and an easy going family man are words i would use to describe Terry. He will be missed.
Deepest and Sincere condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Barb and family, Kevin and I are so saddened by Terry’s passing. You were both some our first friends when we moved to NS in 1983. So many memories of happy and silly times including “mummering” in the early years, the boys fishing?? trips, Kevin and Terry’s racing around the golf course, and of course girls weekends away and the look on Terry’s face as we drove away leaving a crying Luke in his arms. Our kids all grew up together and they send their condolences to the family as well. We love you and our thoughts are with you all. Terry was a good friend and he will be missed.
