Mom loved to travel so much - all it took was an invite and she was on her way to Paris, Holland, Hawaii, Yukon, Cuba, Nassau, Disneyland and Disney World and numerous trips to Mexico. She enjoyed reading, fishing, backgammon, and a number of card games, as well as knitting and crocheting; as soon as she heard a new baby was on the way for friends or family, she would start a blanket, as well as slippers and dish clothes for the girls. Mom loved a good feed of lobster- she could clean a body like no one else. Mom liked making bread and cookies. She didn’t like cooking much, but was always ready to do the dishes. Mom was always ready to help when needed.
