Obituary of Ed Lively

LIVELY, Eddy – age 63, of Barr Settlement, passed away peacefully at home November 27, 2019 with his wife by his side. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Annie Lively and Ray Gilfoy.

Ed was well known for his outgoing personality and friendliness - he could talk to anyone. He enjoyed playing guitar and singing. He had a wonderful sense of humour. Ed was an exceptionally hard worker who did what was necessary to look after those he loved.

Ed is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Debbie (Langille); children, Sherry, Tammy, Annabelle, Crystal, and Edwin; stepson William “Bill”; many grandchildren; brother, Wally (Jackie) Gilfoy, BC; sister, Wanda (Brian) Heisler, NS.

Ed was predeceased by his parents; brother, Wade.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie.

A celebration of Ed’s life will happen in the spring at Renfrew Campground.
