My thoughts and heart are with you, Jeff and Angie, as you grieve for Braedon. I did not have the opportunity to talk with you at the Maple Ridge reception, but wanted to reach out, as someone who has walked this path, and let you know that you will survive this. That the pain becomes manageable and being happy again is possible. People say we are 'strong'. Strength is a limited resource and plays a limited role in grief. We grieve but for love. Love for ourselves and each other will help us move through life as a bereaved parent. Siblings are often the forgotten grievers so I also want to send an abundance of love and understanding to Kevin.

Dearest Angie & Jeff
I do know that words are utterly hopeless to convey to you my own incredible heartbreak at the loss of your precious son Braeden.
He truly was an amazing boy of whom memories of his gracious presence will in some way hopefully sustain thru your grief at his loss to you.
And it was also truly my privilege to know him.
As my [Newfoundland] grandmother used to say to me ' grief is love lost -but -it is through experiencing grief that the living somehow find the strength to persevere.
So.. to you both I offer my sincere condolences
Most sincerely

We are so very saddened by your tremendous loss. We hope you are comforted by your memories of Braeden and the extraordinary legacy of love, talent, and friendship he leaves behind for all to share and remember. He set the bar very high.
There are no words that one can extend that will make bearing this loss any easier. But we hope that God will hold you in his hands and that you will find comfort in his love and comfort in your surrounding community.
Our memories of Braeden are few but impactful. His great regard for others was inspiring to the young people he came into contact with, including one of our own. This type of kindness is a natural gift that he shared with those around him on a daily basis and will live on through them.
Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you.
