GIBBON, William Neil “Bill” - age 83, of Bedford. It is with heavy hearts the family of William Neil Gibbon announce his passing on October 30, 2019 in the QEII Hospital, Halifax Infirmary Site with family by his side.

Bill was a loving husband of 58 years to Marg (Woods); a great dad to Gary (Cheryl); and Pap to his wonderful grandchildren, Brooke, MacKenzie and Zachary; his grandchildren’s mother, Kim.

Bill was a truck driver all his life. He loved his family and friends and his faithful companion, Buddy. Bill was always willing to lend a hand to all.

He is survived by siblings, Allen, Mark (Janie), Betty Wells, Linda (Cleve) Isenor, Barbara (John) MacDonald; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill Woods, Peggy Gibbon and Evelyn Gibbon.

He was predeceased by his parents, Bertis and Annie Gibbon; son Robert; father and mother - in-law, Mike and Ruth Woods; brothers, Robert and Larry Gibbon; brother - in-law George Wells; sister-in-law, Bernice Gibbon.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Bill’s life will be held 2pm, Sunday November 3, 2019 in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie. Reception to follow. Private interment.

The family wishes to thank cousin Sue Gibbon, and the staff on 8.1 at the Infirmary.
