Obituary of Ruth Elizabeth Lentz

LENTZ, Ruth Elizabeth – age 76, Shubenacadie, passed away peacefully in Elk Court, Brookfield October 6, 2019. Born in Dartmouth, she was a daughter of the late Parker and Audrey (Vaughn) Merrick.

Ruth was a quiet woman who was a loving mother and grandmother. She was very dedicated to her family business. She enjoyed driving to different appointments and meeting new people through the business.

Ruth is survived by her son, Stanley (Corina); daughters, Meredith (Don) and Ruthann; grandchildren, Ryan (Jensen), Ryker, Sarah, Lindsay, Ophelia, Dashiell, Lucas, Logan; great granddaughter Rory; sisters, Barbara, Nancy (Dave); brother, Timothy; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Stanley; sister, Linda.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. A private family service will be held at a later date.

Donations in Ruth’s memory may be made to the Scleroderma Society of Nova Scotia.
