I knew Tim for over 20 years at AMP. Always a good time. I recall sitting in a smouldering race car about 10 years ago...didn't want to get out because it was on-track, so I waited for Tim. He arrived, parked the ambulance across the track and said "get the Hell outta that fu*king thing you idiot. It's on fire". I laughed and hopped out and said "so put the godd#mned thing out". Good times.
Shocked and saddened by his passing. I will never ever forget him.
Much love...

Tim was truly a character, I knew this early in life as Timmy and his family were my neighbours! I remember the break dancing like it was yesterday. A smile that could take your breath away and a personality that is second to none. A few years ago, I received a message on Facebook asking if I was his old neighbour from Hillside Court...we shared many messages as we shared emergency services as our passion. I feel lucky to have known Timmy and it is heart breaking to have lost someone so instrumental to many so suddenly and certainly too soon. There are no words to ease this pain but knowing Timmy was loved and appreciated by so many must have a heart warming impact on all who were close to him. Xoxoxo thank you for being my neighbour. ❤️

Sad to hear of Tim’s passing. He was larger than life and one of those men who I thought would always be there.... as he was for me on many occasions at the track and first on scene for at least 3 of my off track excursions, showing genuine impassioned concern with the utmost professionalism. Tim had kind words for all and was far more than just an expert at our track. He volunteered on countless occasions to assist with any number of unrelated but important tasks for so many of our volunteer organizations. As I read through the comments expressed by so many others, I realize how much he will be truly missed by many. My sincere condolences to family and friends.

I’m so sorry to hear that the world has lost Tim. My first job was as a student with the DNR fire crew from 1996-1998- Tim helped to make it one of the best jobs of my life. His laughter and humour were so contagious and he was a great mentor who patiently taught the summer students, always found something to laugh at and could lighten any situation.
Most memorable Tim quote, on being sent to rescue apparently abandoned baby skunks and finding them being a bit more independent and capable than expected: “Old enough to spray, old enough to stay.”

Tim’s been a brother to me and so many others in the fire service and the race track for 20 years now. Always willing to listen and offer advice, always eager to mentor and train, always ready to crack a joke and lighten the mood when needed most. Red Trucks Rule! Yeah, like that.
We’ve dealt with some bad scenes and sad personal situations over the years. Tears were shed at the firehall. Tim was the one who taught so many of us to lean on our brothers and sisters in uniform in tough times - times just like these. His lessons in life and caring live on in all he touched and will continue saving lives for many years to come.
I’ll miss you Timmy. Cya in an hour or so...
