MACDONALD, Debi – age 56, Gays River, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro on August 22, 2019.

Born in Sept-Iles, Quebec, she was a daughter of Renee (O’Handley) Rudolph and the late Thomas “Al” Rudolph.

Mom worked as a nurse for many years. She was very artistic, enjoyed crafts, gardening and baking. She was an avid Christmas enthusiast and she loved spending time with her grandchildren - they were her world.

Survived by her husband, Paul; her mother, Renee (Ray Jones); her children, David (Tara), Tiffany (Gregory) Taylor, Mark (Candace), Scott (Liandra Hunt) and Liam; grandchildren, Lucus, Madison, Akira, Harlow and Lexie; sister, Darlene (Charles Melbourne) Rudolph; Darlene’s children, Allen and Alyssa Shields. Debi also leaves behind a large extended family; her chosen family the Duffy’s and the Campbell’s; and her beloved dog, Zeus.

Predeceased by her father, Al.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie.

A celebration of life will be held from 7-9pm Thursday, August 29th in St. Bridget’s Church Hall, Shubenacadie. Come as you are and share your memories of Debi.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Colchester East Hants Health Centre for their compassionate care over the years and especially the staff in the ICU.
