Obituary of Dana Mark Ingraham
Please share a memory of Dana to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
INGRAHAM, Dana Mark – 57, Cobble Hill, BC/ Margaree Valley/Milford Station. Dana slipped quietly away in his sleep July 1, 2019 in Cobble Hill, BC. Our hearts are broken with his presence gone, but he will live on in our cherished memories. Born in Middle Musquodobit, he was the eighth child of the William and Thelma (Lane) Ingraham. Never one to stand still for long, Dana worked in many different places in both Canada and the USA, and his vast work experience spanned the health care, construction, mining, transportation and forestry sectors. Gifted with musical abilities, he enjoyed singing, whistling and playing his guitar. Sports cars, motorcycles, his boat, and flying his ultralight provided him with pleasure. Dana greatly enjoyed deep philosophical conversations and family time. Predeceased by both parents, he is survived by siblings, Janet (Dave) Paul, Shubenacadie; Susan (Brian) Konopski, Winnipeg, MB; Jack (Letty) Ingraham, Carvel, AB; Annie Ingraham, Cobble Hill, BC; Alice (Brian) MacDonald, Windsor Jct.; Wendy (John Dixon) Ingraham, Vancouver, BC; Sheryl (Wayne Boudreau) Ingraham, Durham, NC, USA; and April (John Mott) Ingraham, Summerland, BC. Also left to mourn his passing are numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-grand nieces, his aunt, Edena (Lane) Joudrey, cousins and dear friends. In keeping with Dana’s abiding concern for the health of our planet and its vulnerable custodians, in lieu of flowers, please honour his memory by performing a random act of kindness to someone in need. A private service in his beloved Margaree Valley will take place at a later date.
