Obituary of Douglas Taylor Colliar

COLLIAR, Douglas Taylor, age 60 of West St. Andrews formerly of Milford passed away July 3, 2019 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.

Born in Leuchars, Scotland, he was a son of the late Robert Sr. and Mary Ann (Duncan) Colliar.

Douglas was a lifelong farmer, he loved horses. He enjoyed fixing things and had a natural aptitude with electronic and mechanical devices.

He is survived by siblings, Robert Colliar, Elspeth Colliar and Marion (Gerald) MacDonald; nephews, Ryan and Tyler; great niece, Heather; cousins, Morag and Ian Duncan.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie from 2-4pm Monday, July 8^th commencing with a short service at 2pm led by Rev. Marilyn MacDonald.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit.
