Debbie was my baby sister and she had a tough life, as a child Deb had sever asthma and with that a lobe of her lung removed, she married the best man at my wedding Fredrick Roy Herrett of Grand Lake, who passed 29 Dec 1988, leaving her a widow. Debbie was the daughter of John Crant, born 03 Feb 1929 at Ramea, Newfoundland and married 19 Apr 1952 at Halifax Ruby Mildred Wambolt born 09 Jun 1928 in Halifax. Debbie always had a smile that would light up a room. Dad died as a young man on 02 Aug 1981 in Halifax at the age of 52, mom died 16 Sep 1999 at Halifax at the age of 71, our brother Jim passed 03 Feb 2016 aged 63 in Sydney, NS. I removed to Florida in 1999 and then Texas in 2009, missing so much of her and the rest of my sisters life, but when I did go home, Debbie's smile always made me feel good, that smile is etched in my brain and will not be forgotten. Dear Debbie, I know your with the Angels and are looking down on us, you love will be felt the rest of our lives, I felt I should tell you a little of Debbie's history and the love we still hold for her and our dear brother Jim. All of those that knew Debbie, you know as I do, she was a kind and cheerful person and I know that image will stay with you, God Bless You All.
