Thursday, June 27, 2019Dear Karen & Luella's extended family. I am so saddened to learn of cousin Luella's passing. (My father, Brice, & her father, Fred, were brothers.) I think I may have only met her once, in the 1950s, when I was quite young. But I had gotten to know her a bit in the past few years, through cards & phone calls. A lovely lady. Speaking with her, I could tell why my late parents would always look forward to visiting on their trips to Nova Scotia. I think it was their favorite part of the whole trip.

Saturday, May 25, 2019Karen and family; sorry I just saw the obituary. We are deeply sorry for your loss. The funeral was very nice and thankful the sun came out instead of rain for the day. Lue will be deeply missed and will forever be in our thoughts.

Thursday, May 23, 2019Dear Cousin Karen and Family, I was just speaking with Wendy and Lynn and heard the sad news of your mom's passing. Your mom and I had spoken on the phone a few times in recent years, but it had mostly been for sad occasions. She was very kind and I have fond memories of her, especially of our younger years when you visited Lake George or I was in NS. You are in my thoughts and prayers. With deepest sympathy, Jane Leonard

Tuesday, May 21, 2019Was sad to hear of the passing of Lu. She was a very sweet woman. My husband, Chip, plowed her driveway every winter for a number of years and she would always (when she was able) have a cup of coffee made for him. I enjoyed our little visits and I knew she was thrilled to have the company. You are at rest now Lu. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Cathy and Chip Lucas
