Thursday, April 11, 2019Sending our condolences to the family. I remember as a child knowing Eunice from the hospital. My greatest memory though is taking her to visit Ivan in Halifax, we had a wonderful day out in the garden listening to music.

Tuesday, April 9, 2019Please accept our sincere condolences. I will always remember Eunice and Ivan enjoying their outdoor walks & holding hands. (Which they continued to do on a daily basis at Braeside, bringing smiles to residents and staff alike). I was truly happy to be able to spend time with them in their home a couple of years ago. They always made me feel welcome! Yours sincerely Robin

Monday, April 8, 2019So sorry to hear about Aunt Eunice's passing. I always looked forward to seeing her and Uncle Ivan at the family get togethers that (Grammy and Grampy) Edna and Carl would host and then Aunt Margaret. They were like an extra set of Grandparents to us. They were always interested in what we were up to and loved to follow our antics. Uncle Ivan would always tease that he always knew my and his age because he was 50 when I was born and it was easy to calculate. We always knew that if Aunt Eunice was at a family get together, then so were her Rolls". They were the BEST!!! I hope someone has her recipe. I would love to have it, if someone has a copy of it. Thinking of you all! Take care, Edna (mcLean) Newcombe

Monday, April 8, 2019I was very sorry to see that Eunice had passed away. She was always a well-respected member of the community while I was growing up. I knew her but not really well. Then when I was researching my family I spoke with Eunice and she said she would check some church records for me and I could call her in a couple of days. I did phone back and she provided me with a wealth of helpful information. She also told me some stories that were so wonderful to hear and we had a great laugh over some of them. She was an absolutely lovely lady. It is my hope that her family will be comforted by knowing in what high esteem my family and many others held her. Please accept my sincere condolences. I will remember her always and appreciate her help. With every best wish to all, Wilma Jokela
