HAMILTON, Albert “Louis” – age 98, of Noel Shore, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2018 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in East Noel, Hants County, he was a son of the late Harold and Ella (Reid) Hamilton.

He was devoted to his wife and family. He was predeceased by his wife, Marion earlier this year.

Lou is survived by his children, Joyce, Murray Siding; Arnold (Brenda), Crowes Mills; Rudy (Alexandra), Truro; grandchildren, Troy, Tracey, Stefan and Joy (Tim) Wynn; great grandchildren, Breanna, Nikolis, Scotty, and Victoria; brother, Oland Hamilton, Noel Shore; sister in law, Marina Hamilton, Noel Shore; sister in law, Olive Terris, Pictou; several nieces and nephews.

Dad was a well known and respected carpenter for many years. A great number of houses and hen houses he built in Hants County can be seen as one travels that area.

He was a modest man and did not want any recognition for his accomplishments.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. There will be no visitation or funeral service by request.

Private interment will be held in Noel Shore Cemetery.

The family wishes to express deep thanks and gratitude to all the VON Homecare workers (especially Tina) for their wonderful help. Also, special thanks to the nursing staff at E3 Palliative Care. May God bless you all.

If so desired, donations may be made to the Noel United Church.

Condolences, words of comfort and memories of Lou may be shared with the family at: www.ettingerfuneralhome.com

We are proud of you, Dad, and we’ll miss you!
