Ernie, Leonard, Joy and all your family;
We send our thoughts and prayers to each of you as you move through your grief of lossing a very special lady!
The friendship our parents, and especially our mothers was one of mutual respect and commitment to the values they lived by. The friends of the parents became the friends of we, their children. Your Mother and ours enjoyed so many joyfilled outings together. Then as adults we got to enjoy so many more, especially those we had with the pleasure of Marion and Frances being along too.
I always loved these "tea parties with china cups", legion events or outings! We all left each one with many treasured memories of our time together.. We often enjoyed the beauty of nature, the strength of special friendships, and always the joy of a shared meal or treat on those journeys!
I personally always felt such loving support from your Mum, right to our visits together at Braeside. She never was expecting of visits but always expressed her gratitude that we had come to be with her. She never failed to tell me she loved a special hug from Mary and Alex's girls! As with many many others, Bea had a loving way that made us all feel special!!
Your Mum's faithfulness to that God's will for herself and others would look after all our needs was inspirational.
As I heard of her passing on Mother's Day,( the feast of the Ascension of the Lord; as well as a day of acknowledgement to Our Lady of Fatima ) I could not help but think it was a final blessing of grace for her fidelity, for this to be the day for a devotee of the Blessed Nother, like your Mum, to be welcomed home to her final resting place!
May she be rewarded eternally for all her service and prayers offered for others.including ourselves.
With our sincerest condolences as we feel such gratitude for the "'mothering" she shared with many including us.
We are so sorry, that we are unable to be in attendance in person to express our condolences, at your Mum's celebration of Life.Know that we certainly wanted to be there.

To the Ledwidge & Poirier Families:
The obituary of Beatrice (Poirier) Ledwidge brought memories of the 1945-46 school year that I spent so happily in her parents' home while attending school in Margaree Forks. And the happy home was made still happier when Bea would come home for a visit. She was a cheerful and intelligent person with a marvellous sense of humour.
Many years later I was able to renew that acquaintance when I was stationed in West Chezzetcook. I see that Martin and Joh and Helen still survive. My sincere sympathy to each of them. I think they will remember me from by-gone days.
Also sympathy to her sons, daughter and descendants three generations farther on.
All of us have wonderful memories of her. Let us keep her in our prayers. I shall offer a Mass for her.

To the family of "Aunt Bea". Condolences to your family. I remember as a child running across the field for a short visit with Aunt Bea. In latter years whenever we met she always had a smile and a hug and would greet me by name and ask about my Mom. Fond memories.

Always has been a delight over my many years in Enfield to grab a few minutes chatting with Bea.
Bea shared some very wise words with me as a young mother some 35 years ago, and it meant so much <3
I'm sure many felt this with Bea,while in conversation you had her undivided attention.
Both her,& Joe too, hold a place of honour for both Alan & I. Very fond memories for sure.xoxo
