Obituary of Noreen Gray GRAY (McDonald), Noreen Eleanor – Enfield, passed away March 17, 2018 in QEII Infirmary, Halifax. Born in Halifax, she was the youngest daughter of the late Edward Burton McDonald and Cecelia (Kavanaugh) McDonald. She was keenly interested in history and genealogy. She received two awards and had many articles and books in publication. Her hobbies included gardening and fishing. She is survived by her husband, Harold Gray, Enfield; her sons, Patrick (Bonnie), Wellington; Brian (Rebecca), Herring Cove; Darby (Monique), Fletcher’s Lake; Matthew (Amanda), Wellington; grandchildren, Keegan, Brody, Joshua, Brittany, Shelby, Riley and Bailey Gray; Andrew, Alysha, and Ben Nelson; Amie Smart. She was predeceased by sisters, Pauline and Cleta; brother, Kevin. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. Funeral Service will be held 11am Friday, March 23rd in St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Enfield; Fr. Michael Walsh officiating. A reception will follow in the Enfield Legion. Donations in Noreen’s memory may be made to St. Bernard’s Church, Enfield or the IWK Hospital Foundation.
