Obituary of Greta Peters PETERS , Greta Louise – age 93, passed away February 7, 2018 in Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro. Born May 3, 1924, she was the last immediate surviving member of the large family of Owdis and Mina Isenor. Our Mom was a home body who enjoyed her family, knitting, baking -she read cookbooks like novels and she also enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and crosswords. She is survived by her children; Rodney (Linda), Gregory (Peggy), Trudy (Harley), Carter (Wendy) and son in-law, Colin; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth and daughter, Narda. The family would like to offer a big heartfelt thanks to Lisa Hartlen and the entire staff of Cedarstone for their great care and love for “Momma”, as she was known to them. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. No visitation as per Mom’s request. A graveside service to be held 10:30am Saturday, June 2, 2018 in North Beaverbank Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
