Obituary of Louis Erwin Dorey
Please share a memory of Louis to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Dorey, Louis Erwin - age 57 of Waverley, passed away suddenly on Wednesday August 9th, 2017.
He was the son of Kaye (Millet) Dorey and the late Bernard Dorey.
Louis was a loving and caring son, brother, father and grandfather. Louis loved his family and they enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially camping in the back woods together. Louis’ true passion was work. He worked 40 years on the roads, he started out in paving and worked his way up to superintendent, but he ended his career doing what he always dreamed of, grabbing gears driving a big rig. He lived to work and driving a float truck for Brycon was his dream job. There was nothing he couldn't or wouldn't haul. He was a valued and dedicated Brycon employee. His boss and coworkers had the highest respect for him. He was one of the best and hardest workers you'd ever find. Brycon considered him family. His boss, Bryan appreciated his commitment and dedication to the job and valued Louie as a close friend. "He was my first call every morning and my last call every night" says Bryan Naugle, Brycon Construction.
