Obituary of Florence Elizabeth Gehue

GEHUE, Florence Elizabeth– age 68, of Indian Brook, passed away peacefully February 13, 2017 surrounded by her family in the Halifax Infirmary Site, QEII Health Science Centre, Halifax. Born in Bridgewater, Maine, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary (Marr) Gehue. She is survived by her children, Lisa (Clayton) Paul, and Diane Sack; grandsons, Tyler and Josh Sack; granddaughter, Tanaysha Sack; great grandson Jackson Horne; sisters, Joyce Gehue, Terri (Larry) Socobasin, Margie (Murray) Copage, Wanda Francis, Joanne Julian, Anne Mary Gehue; several god children and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Sack and son Richie Sack; brothers, David Gehue and Dwayne Maloney; sister, Sheila Gloade. Visitation will begin 1pm Thursday, February 16 at 63 Tower Road, Indian Brook until the time of funeral mass, which will be held 11am Saturday February 18, in St. Kateri Church, Indian Brook, Father Joseph Thomas officiating. Salite and meal will follow at the Multipurpose Centre. Cremation will follow. Interment at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Association or the Lung Association.
