Obituary of Vivian Aileen Waller

WALLER, Vivian A. – age 90 of Truro, formerly of Halifax passed away peacefully on November 13, 2016 in Wynn Park Villa, Truro. Born in MacPhee’s Corner, she was a daughter of the late Hugh and Rachael (Wood) Waller.
Vivian worked for the Department of Fisheries for many years in Halifax. She was a talented knitter and loved to crochet and do needlepoints. She loved to bake and cook for her family. Vivian had a soft spot in her heart for animals.
Vivian is survived by her son, Wayne (Ethel); grandson, Douglas (Cindy); step brothers, Bobby and Jimmy Waller, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son, Frankie; sisters, Vera Singer and Babe Singer; brothers Bill and Geordie Waller; stepbrother, Les Waller.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held 7-9 pm Saturday, November 19 in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie from where a funeral service will be held 2pm Sunday, November 20, Rev. David LeBlanc officiating. A reception will follow in the funeral home hospitality area. Interment to follow in the South Maitland Cemetery.
