Obituary of Robert George Clements

CLEMENTS, Robert “Bob” George, of Shubenacadie, passed away November 13 2016, in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, with his wife and children by his side. He was born in Weston, Ontario, on Aug 22nd, 1934 to Alfred and Elsie (MacCartney) Clements. Robert recently celebrated his 60th wedding anniversary with his loving wife, Helen. Robert started as a mechanic at Canadian Tire and went on to build a successful business, Fulton Enterprises, until his retirement. He enjoyed following stock car racing and spending time with the Studebaker Club. He is survived by his wife, Helen (Wilcox) Clements; son, Ron (Mary Anne); daughter, Lianne (Jeff Young); grandchildren, Ryan (Tawnya Redmond), Holley, Mandy, Tiffany, Tyler, and six great grandchildren. Robert was predeceased by his parents and brother, Richard. Funeral service will be held 2pm November 18, in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, Rev. Martin Reid officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, East Stewiacke followed by A Celebration of Life in the Stewiacke Legion, 299 George Street, Stewiacke. Donations may be made to Pine Grove Cemetery.
