Obituary of Eugene Howard Chapman

CHAPMAN, Eugene H., age 91, of Nine Mile River, passed away peacefully at home on September 8, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. He was a son of the late Tupper and Julia Beatrice (Ogden) Chapman. Eugene was an avid woodsman, animal lover and a devoted father and husband. He cherished his early years of aviation training in Ontario. He is survived by his wife, Dora (Carter) Chapman, his children, Barbara (Lloyd), Terry (Renita), Julia (Lloyd), Kevin (Rose), Margot (Bill), as well as grandchildren, Candace, Kyla, Allison, Angelina, Laura, Shawn, Douglas, Scott, B.J., Ricki, Logann and Theresa, as well as many great grandchildren and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, daughter Janice Greene, infant granddaughter Sara Thompson, brother Claude. Cremation has taken place. No visitation. A graveside service will be held at 12:30pm Saturday, September 17 in the Lorneville Cemetery, Cumberland County, Rev. Neil Barr officiating.
