Obituary of Hilda Gertrude White

WHITE, Hilda Gertrude, age 81, of North Noel Road, passed away peacefully in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro on Sunday July 3, 2016. Born in North Noel Road, she was a daughter of the late Allen and Essie White. Hilda enjoyed quilting, playing darts and the color Red. She was an avid bingo player, and she enjoyed a good game of Yahtzee with the girls. She is survived by children, Kevin (Wendy), David (Pam), Todd (Ethel); grandchildren, Jeremy (Amanda), Dewayne (Angela), Michael (Krista), Tracy (Chris), Becky, Stephanie (Matt), Odessa; great grandchildren, Timothy, Jenna, Janelle, Samantha, Ainsleigh and Alex; brother, Aubrey (Rowena); sisters-in-law, Nora, Dorothy, Myrtle, Evelyn (Freddie); several nieces and nephews. Hilda was predeceased by her husband Blair; sons, Wynburn, Christopher; grandson, Timothy; great granddaughter, Shelby; her many brothers and sisters. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. A graveside service will be held 2pm Thursday, July 7, in St. Paul’s Cemetery, North Noel Road, Rev.
