Obituary of Susan Elizabeth Forrest

FORREST Susan Elizabeth - age 59, of Enfield, passed away peacefully in the hospital with her loving husband, Allan and family by her side on Monday June 27, 2016. Susan is survived by Allan her loving husband and best friend of 41 years; her three children, Shawn, Chris (Tiffany), Michelle (Mike) White; brother, John (Terri-Lea) Flynn; sister, Barbara Deveau and mother in-law, Geraldine Forrest. Susan adored and loved all of her grandchildren, Kyle, Chloe, Riley, Justyn, Ethan, Aidan, Cooper, Charlee and Austin; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Harold Flynn and Shirley Harper; her father in-law, Alexander Forrest; and grandson, Carter White. To all that knew her, she was an exceptional and unique woman. Susan’s laugh was infectious. She loved to read, travel and spend time relaxing and listening to her music. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the IWK Children’s Hospital in memory of Carter Garry White. Susan will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
