HUNT, Lillian Alberta, age 80, of West St. Andrews, Stewiacke, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2016, surrounded by her family in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, palliative care unit, Truro. She was the daughter of the late John and Lila (Isenor) Keeping. Lillian was born in Indian Harbour and raised in Herring Cove. In her early years her favourite past time was to swim at Long Pond in Herring Cove, with her 9 siblings. Lillian met the love of her life Richard at the age of 14 and then married him on her 17th birthday, and together they raised 8 children. Lillian’s first job was at The Armview Restaurant. Lillian loved to bake her famous homemade bread and cinnamon rolls, but more importantly she adored cooking for her large family. She loved dancing and singing with her Buck.
