Obituary of Julie Anne Thomas

THOMAS, Julie Anne-age 45 of Maple Grove. The family is saddened by her sudden passing on February 20, 2016 at home. She worked as the finance manager at Truro Nissan. Julie enjoyed times spent with family and friends and was a very kind, out-going person. She will be sadly missed by her husband Greg Brightman; stepdaughter, Kassi - whom she loved dearly; sisters, Nicole, Jan, Kim and Cindy; stepfather Wayne Copeland, long time friend Wanita, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Anne (Tallevi) Lapstra and stepfather Bill Lapstra. She will also be missed by her beloved cats, Chester and Max; her girlfriends - D.J., Tina, Lisa and Jodi -“SIBBS”. No visitation by request. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held 11am Thursday, February 25 at Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, Father Michael Walsh officiating. A reception will follow in the hospitality area of the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
