Obituary of Sharon Gertrude Wood

WOOD, Sharon - age 68 of Green Creek, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2016 surrounded by her family in the Colchester Easts Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Nelson Charlton, and is survived by her mother, Winnifred (Sullivan) Charlton. Family was everything to Sharon, she was happiest when around them. She thoroughly enjoyed crafts, knitting, cooking and baking. She loved her pets and she spoiled her fur babies. She will be sadly missed by her husband, Don; children, Donnie (Crista), Denine (Wade), Douglas and Gregory; grandchildren, Brandon, Devon, Cohen, Brittany, Sarah, Alex, Kevin, Jarrett and Katie. She was predeceased by her sister, Delores Cullen. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. A private family gathering will be held in her honour at a later date.
