Obituary of Hazel Sylvia Burton

BURTON, (HENNIGAR) Hazel Sylvia – age 92 Latties Brook, passed away December 7, 2015 at home. Born in Five Mile River, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Nellie (McLellan) Hennigar. Hazel was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved dancing, baking and sewing. Her interests then turned to camping with her family and watching the birds. She will be sadly missed by son, Kenny,New Waterford; daughter, Anne (Phillip) Green, Five Mile River; grandchildren, Jennifer (Derek), Shannon and Bill; great grandchildren, Vanessa, Alyssa and Owen; sisters, Merna (Leroy) Dingle, Admiral Rock, Pauline Beattie, Maitland; brother, Gerald (Shirley) Hennigar, Windsor Forks, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd; daughter, Christine; grandson, Matthew; brothers, Nelson, Vernon and Blair; sisters, Mavis Brightman and Betty Roy. Cremation has taken place, no visitation by request. A funeral service will be held at 2pm Friday, December 11, 2015 in St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Latties Brook. Burial will be in the church cemetery and a reception will follow in the Four Points Hall, Latties Brook. The family would like to thank the VON and her care givers for their wonderful care.
