Obituary of William Robert Pollock

POLLOCK, William Robert “Bill”- Age 76, of East Stewiacke, passed away October 20, 2015 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre. Born in Truro, he was the son of the late Robert and Gladys (Jeffers) Pollock. Bill worked for NCR as a technician for 39 years while living in Dartmouth. He was an outdoorsman at heart and was an avid sailor. He enjoyed trapping, four wheeling and cutting wood off his lot. Bill enjoyed helping his friends and neighbours and was a self-taught carpenter/electrician/plumber and welder, whose talents will be greatly missed by his family. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Mercedes; daughter, Susan Pollock (Craig Seafoot); son, Michael (Imelda Reynolds); sister, Helen Hodge; five nephews and two nieces. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Service will be held 2pm Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie with Rev David LeBlanc officiating. A reception will follow at the funeral home.
