Obituary of Betty Yvonne Singer

SINGER (Conley) Betty Y., Shubenacadie, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2015 at the age of 75. Born in Noel, a “bubbly”, gentle and easy going daughter of the late Chester and Beatrice (Kitchin) Conley. She enjoyed working with her hands and for several years owned and managed the Rosebowl Flower Shop. She sold the business after her twin girls were born and became a stay-at-home Mom. Still feeling that artistic pull when her family got older, she started Singer Ceramics. Betty is survived by her devoted husband Keith; their beloved daughters Keatha (Mark) Bearss, Shubenacadie; Shirley Singer, Julie (Kenneth) McCulloch, Jody (Timothy) Ryan, all of Halifax; loving NaNa to Andrew, Jilliane, Tanner, Reegan, Brycen and Easton; proud Great Grandmother to Peyton, Nathaniel and Tristan; a loving brother Robert (Glenda) Conley. Cremation has taken place under the care of Ettinger Funeral Home. No visitation by Betty’s request. Private family burial to take place in Preeper Hill Cemetery.
