SINGER, William Russell, Cooks Brook. We sadly announce the sudden passing of William Russell Singer “Billy” of Cooks Brook, on June 7, 2015. Billy was born on April 7, 1957 to Malene Harvey, Shubenacadie and the late Currie Singer. He is survived by his wife, Dale; sons Billy (Tanya) and Bobby (Amber); daughter Stacey (Greg) Amarandos; stepsons Paul, Chris and Nick Taylor; brothers Rob (Cindy) and Dave (Lynn), He was Papa to his beloved grandchildren, Brittnie, Brandon and Blake Amarandos, Kennedy, Daylon and Ryker Singer, Xan, Gracie Singer and Veigha Taylor. Billy worked in construction and drove trucks for most of his life. He enjoyed “tinkering” in his garage and got such pleasure out of hunting and fishing; but these pleasures could not compare to the pleasure he felt riding on his Harley. Cremation has taken place. Visitation 7-9 pm, Wednesday with funeral service 2 pm, Thursday both in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, Rev. Angus R. MacDonald officiating. A private family burial to follow. No flowers please as per Billy’s request. Donations may be made in Billy’s memory to the Diabetes Association, Nuttall Hill Cemetery Fund or a charity of your choice.
