Obituary of Ross Lelland Crombe

CROMBE, Ross Lelland, Age 53, Shubenacadie, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2015 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Truro, he was the son of the late Aubrey and Patsy (Clark) Crombe. Ross worked as a garbage hauler privately and for the Municipality of East Hants. Ross enjoyed farming and animals. He was a hard worker before his illness. He was a member of the Shubenacadie and District Volunteer Fire Brigade for more than 25 years. He is survived by his wife, Mary (Fraser); brother, Charles, Shubenacadie; nephew, Corey, Shubenacadie; grandniece, Haedyn; grandnephew, Royce; uncle, Layton (Ann) Doyle, ON; aunt, Reta Crombe, Rochester, NY. He was predeceased by a sister, Donna. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 6-8pm, Friday in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie from where the funeral service will be held 2pm, Saturday, April 25, Rev. Martin Reid officiating. Interment at a later date in Brookside Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
